If, for some reason, you did not receive an email, the package is also posted on UPSE’s website in the “Member Login” area (https://www.peiupse.ca/members/login/). With the recent announcement last evening of CUPW commencing a strike as they work toward a fair and reasonable deal with Canada Post, UPSE is using a primarily online voting procedure, although we are still providing ways to vote in-person.
Note that to vote, you must have completed your UPSE Membership Card/Registration with UPSE and have a valid email address at the Union Office. If you have not registered, please go to our membership registration section here on the UPSE website to register https://www.peiupse.ca/membership-registration/
If you are already registered with UPSE, please ensure that your UPSE member contact information is up-to-date as well (home mailing address, contact number, email address, and worksite). To do so, please fill out your UPSE contact information form here https://www.peiupse.ca/members/update/ and submit it electronically. Please note that UPSE will have paper ballots available at the in-person education sessions if members prefer to cast their ratification vote in person. In addition, paper ballots will be available for pick up at the PEI UPSE office (4 Enman Crescent, Charlottetown) for members who prefer to vote via paper ballot.
NOTE: Any member who casts two votes (one electronic and one paper), the electronic vote will be the vote considered and counted.
The closing date for the ratification vote will be October 17, 2025, at noon (12:00 pm). Votes after this date & time will be null and void.
