Dear retired members, on behalf of the Union, I would like to congratulate you all on your retirement. You have dedicated many years of your life to serving Islanders and we are grateful for your contributions. As you embark on this new chapter of your life, we want to remind you that you will always be a part of our union family. You have helped build our union into what it is today, and we will continue to fight for the rights and benefits of all workers.
We know that retirement can be a daunting prospect, but we encourage you to take this time to enjoy your newfound freedom and pursue your passions. Whether it’s travelling, spending time with family, or volunteering in your community, we hope that retirement brings you joy and fulfillment. Please remember that you can always reach out to the union if you need support or advice. We are here to help you navigate this transition and ensure that your retirement is everything you hoped it would be.
