FAMILY VIOLENCE PREVENTION WEEK (MAY 13-19, 2024)

Posted May 13, 2024, 11:50am

As a union, UPSE wants to help create a society where everyone is safe, respected, and valued. Every person should have the opportunity to reach their full potential and contribute to the overall well-being of families and communities.

Family Violence Prevention Week is an important initiative that highlights the need to prevent and address all forms of violence, at every stage of life. This year’s theme – “Strong Beginnings: Resiliency in the Early Years,” underscores the importance of promoting healthy and safe environments for children, so they can grow up to be resilient and successful members of society.

We stand in solidarity with all those working to prevent family violence and promote healthy relationships in our communities.
