UPSE’s trained Stewards are currently participating in a rigorous two-day course called “From Conflict to Collaboration.” The program is designed to instill confidence in participants when it comes to addressing conflicts. Throughout the course, participants will learn about the importance of building strong relationships and how trust plays a crucial role in avoiding conflicts and fostering collaboration.
The program also examines the significance of recognizing needs and positions during conflict resolution as this helps parties understand the reasons behind a conflict. By recognizing the needs and positions of all parties involved, a solution can be reached that is fair and satisfactory to everyone. This approach promotes open communication and fosters a sense of respect and understanding among conflicting parties.
