Karen Jackson, President of the PEI Union of Public Sector Employees, recently delivered an inspiring presentation to Holland College students in the Human Resource Management Program. With 5,000 members under her leadership, Karen emphasized the importance of unionization in advocating for job security, fair wages, and social justice.
Jackson extended her heartfelt thanks to the class for their exceptional engagement during the presentation. “Their insightful questions and eagerness to engage in conversations about labour made for a great learning experience. I appreciated their enthusiasm and dedication to understanding the inner workings of union affairs, and I look forward to seeing how they will contribute to the future of the labour movement.”
