March 31st is the International Transgender Day of Visibility. Let’s celebrate and honor transgender people and increase visibility and awareness of the transgender community’s struggles and triumphs.
As a union, we stand in solidarity with our transgender members, and we commit to working towards creating a safe and inclusive workplace for all. We recognize that discrimination, harassment, and violence against transgender people are unacceptable and must be eradicated.
Today, we honor the courage and achievements of transgender individuals, and we pledge to continue our work towards building a world that embraces diversity and celebrates the uniqueness of every person.
