Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and power of women, especially the women who show up every day on the front lines of our workplaces, our communities, and our movement.
Union women have always led the fight for the rights we all enjoy today like pay equity, parental leave, safe workplaces, and the right to organize. That work isn’t finished.
Women still face wage gaps, precarious work, and barriers to leadership. As a union, we stand committed to closing those gaps whether at the bargaining table, in the workplace, and in the streets.
To every woman in our membership and beyond: your work matters, your voice matters, and we’ve got your back, today and every day.
