UPSE as part of the National Executive recently joined striking workers who are members of the Manitoba Government and General Employees’ Union (MGEU), an affiliate of NUPGE. They’ve been on strike for almost a month after trying to bargain a new contract that won’t see them falling farther and farther behind the cost of living.
