This course is open to all union members and is a pre-requisite for all other education the union offers. The Welcome to UPSE course is perfect for getting to know your union better. Whether you are a new member or have been paying dues for years and just want to learn how UPSE works and what your union does for you, you will benefit from this session.
During the Welcome to UPSE course, you will:
• learn about UPSE’s history and evolution in PEI
• learn about the union’s structure, and how it works
• learn about the tools available to familiarize yourself with your collective agreement and who can help you understand the various roles within the union.
