Attention UPSE Corrections Members: Take Survey
Dear PEIUPSE member,
As a member of PEIUPSE, you’re also part of the National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE), a union that brings together more than 450,000 workers who deliver critical public services across Canada, including corrections officers in every region.
This survey is about you and your work in corrections. Your job is vital to public safety and to the safe, secure operation of correctional facilities. The work is demanding, high-stakes, and not always well understood by the public — and too often the challenges you face on the job are overlooked.
NUPGE is preparing to nationally amplify the voices of corrections officers and other workers in correctional facilities to help reflect your priorities. As part of this work, NUPGE has commissioned Pollara, a public opinion and market research firm, to conduct a confidential and anonymous survey where you can share your experiences, concerns, and ideas for improving working conditions, safety, and the system as a whole.

The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. Findings will be used to inform a national report and NUPGE’s advocacy efforts on behalf of corrections officers.
We ask that you please complete the survey by Friday, March 13th.
