Throughout the bargaining sessions, UPSE explored a wide range of topics and successfully addressed many key issues. To ensure that all members were well-informed, UPSE held contract explanation sessions both virtually and in-person across PEI between December 17, 2024, and January 9, 2025. Your engagement and support during this process have been critical to your team’s success.
Karen Jackson, UPSE President, said “that while the Union was not able to move the employer on every issue, it did obtain a fair wage and benefits package that reflects the hard work and dedication of the members.” She said, “UPSE remains committed to continuing its advocacy efforts to seek further improvements that will enhance the working conditions and benefits for all members.”
