UPSE is so saddened by the passing of long time member of UPSE Board of Directors and activist, Steve Mollins, on August 20, 2022.
His presence will be missed by his UPSE family, being the longest serving board member (Director Local 5) since the early 90’s, Constitutional expert, steward and advocate on countless public campaigns and civil service bargaining teams. He has been the quiet voice of reason on our Board for many years, and always based his decisions in the best interest of the union.
Steve treated all with respect and kindness and was always willing to mentor in his union work as well as his work with Youth Justice in Prince County. Steve was a true union activist and his presence will long be missed by UPSE Board of Directors and Staff.
He loved his Union work and was proud to be an UPSE member. Our thoughts are with Cindy, Megan, Morgan and all his family during this time.
