Karen Jackson, UPSE President, has released a statement on the province’s Nursing Retention Incentive Program. The union has signed the agreement with the province which will see LPNs, RCWs, PCWs and HSWs receive monies under the program. UPSE has advocated on behalf of the membership as a whole to have other classifications included in the program, however, the province has decided not to expand the program at present.
