We are thrilled to share that the UPSE delegates at this year’s Convention came together to support a meaningful cause. Through a 50/50 draw, our delegates raised a total of $737. A special shoutout goes to the lucky winner, Dina DesRoches, Director of Local 8, who graciously decided to donate her half of the winnings back to Anderson House. Thanks to her generosity, the total donation amount to Anderson House is $737.
This donation will go a long way in supporting the vital services provided by Anderson House … a provincial emergency shelter for women, trans, and non-binary individuals, and their children, who need safety because of violence in their lives. We truly appreciate everyone who participated in the draw and contributed to this incredible effort. Together, we are making a difference in our community, one act of kindness at a time.
Thank you, everyone! #UPSE#CommunitySupport#AndersonHouse#MakingADifference
