The UPSE Young Workers Committee will award two (2) $500 bursaries annually to UPSE members in good standing age 35 or under who are pursuing part-time or full-time continuing education from a Canadian public education institution while continuing to work at an UPSE bargaining unit workplace. The deadline to apply is April 19, 2024.
Also, members can apply for a host of national union scholarships ($2,500) open to students with a full or part-time course of study leading to a diploma or degree. The deadline for applications is Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 5pm EDT at which time the portal will close. Entrants may apply to any or all scholarships that they are eligible for but only one award may be received.
