It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mike Lyriotokis, a long-standing member of the board, Chief Steward, and Chair of the Stewards Council. Mike was an invaluable member of the Union of Public Sector Employees, and his dedication to supporting our members and advocating for fairness will always be remembered. October 17, 2024, is the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. UPSE stands in solidarity with all those who are experiencing poverty and inequality.

As a union, we advocate for fair wages, safe working conditions, and social protections for all workers.
