Eligibility:
The contest is open to all UPSE members in good standing who are currently employed at an UPSE bargaining unit worksite at the time of entry.
To be a member in good standing;
- You must have signed a membership card available on the PEI UPSE website at https://www.peiupse.ca/membership-registration/ or completed a registration card by contacting the UPSE Office and
- Be paying dues or otherwise be eligible as a member in good standing as defined under the PEI UPSE Constitution and Bylaws https://www.peiupse.ca/about/how/constitution/
Prize
The single prize package includes a $3500 gift card from Air Canada. Prize package must be accepted as awarded, with no substitutions.
Participation forms
Entries will be submitted at https://www.peiupse.ca/upse-60th-convention-grand-prize-draw or by visiting the UPSE Office at 4 Enman Crescent to complete an online ballot.
Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received by the contest deadline. Limit of one entry per person.
One draw from all eligible entries will be held to choose the winner during the 60th Annual Convention November 25th & 26th , 2022.
Terms and conditions
PEI UPSE cannot be held responsible for delayed, or misdirected entries. The organizers are not responsible for any failure of the website during the contest. Nor are they responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software or any e-mail, online or internet entry lost due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any others person’s computer or property related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion.
PEI UPSE reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at their discretion, and they reserve the right to substitute any part of any prize package. Decisions of the contest organizers will be final in all aspects of the contest, including matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure, and fulfillment. The contest shall be subject to all federal, provincial, and municipal laws.
All disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws and courts of the Province of PEI. In the event that there is a conflict between the laws of P.E.I. and any other laws, the laws of PEI. shall prevail in the settlement of the dispute. No purchase necessary.
Privacy
By entering this contest, each entrant consents to PEI UPSE storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with their entry only for the purposes of administering the contest and in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act RSPEI 1988, Cap. F-15.01. PEI UPSE and their agents, employees and contractors will not otherwise sell or disclose any entrant’s personal information. PEI UPSE has permission to use the information provided for the purpose of marketing.
Publication
By entering the contest, entrants consent to the use, without payment or compensation, of their name, city of residence, worksite, and likeness for publicity purposes in all media used by PEI UPSE, the prize sponsors and their agents and contractors. Names and photographs of the winner will be published on www.peiupse.ca and social media.
Deadline
All entries must be received online or in person by 4:00 p.m. Atlantic Time on Friday, November 18, 2022. The draw will take place during the 60th Annual convention being held November 25th and 26, 2022. Winner will be contacted within seven days of the draw.
